CJ AND ANGALA

Saturday was an amazing day! I made my way down to Hot Springs and picked up Justin Turner on the way. Sarah usually second-shoots for me, but she is in Europe for a few weeks. I was really excited to have Justin come along. He is such a nice guy, and I've been looking forward to shooting with him. He just graduated from UCA and is going to be a teacher but has been doing photography on his own for a little while now and is really doing great! We met up with Angala and then Justin took my car so that he could be with the guys before the wedding.

The ceremony took place on the terrace overlooking the lake at J's Italian Villa. We couldn't have asked for a better day....well, except maybe that the temperature would drop about 10 degrees! haha! It was gorgeous though - despite the warmth! Below are a few favorites from the day!

One thing I like about Angala is the fact that she has GREAT style! I absolutely love her gown and her shoes.....and I got a few detailed shots.....

Getting the gown on.....

One of my favorites from the ceremony. I just love how the breeze caught her veil!

We took a few minutes after the ceremony to get a few good shots of just Angala and CJ. We had such a blast going around the downtown area! They received tons of attention from everyone driving by! haha!

They are so super fun!

The first dance.....

I just love the moment between Angala and her mother. Angala had requested for "their song" to be played, and they both got so excited when it was played. I could easily tell by watching them throughout the day that they have an incredible friendship and bond.

The retrieval of the garter was so much fun with this group!!

This little man was so proud of himself for catching the garter......until someone told him what that meant.....and where that garter had been!! haha!! He got so embarrassed! It was so cute!

CJ and Angala - congratulations!!!! I hope you guys have an amazing time relaxing in Jamaica!!!

TESSA

Last week I met up with Carra, Tessa, and Trent at one of the country clubs in Little Rock. Tessa is a beautiful and very energetic one-year-old! We had a fun hour chasing her around and taking some pictures. Big brother Trent just hung out on the sidelines and played and watched. He also helped out a little by blowing bubbles to keep Tessa's attention! haha!! What a great big brother!

Carra, I hope you enjoy these! Your proofs will be available for you to view very soon!

ALEX AND JOELLE

OH MY! I met up with Alex and Joelle in downtown Little Rock today to shoot their engagements! What a FUN couple!!!! They were up for any and EVERYthing!! We were ALL OVER downtown shooting this evening, and we ran into a lot of good luck being able to shoot in areas that were closed off for whatever reasons. All of the guards/staff were very nice and let us get in to each place for a few minutes. Well, until I asked Joelle to roll her pants legs up and get in one of the fountains. There was a security guard who didn't really like that very much! Whoops! But we did get a couple of cute pictures out of it! :)

You can see the guard in the background eyeballing us. I didn't even see him until he yelled at us! We obeyed and quickly left. Hated to make him mad, but we really did have a blast for a minute! :)

Alex was a bit of a ham! I absolutely loved it! We were just playing around waiting on the sun to go down, and I ended up LOVING this shot!!!

I believe this is a posting record for me in posting images after a shoot. I just couldn't sleep tonight, and I am so in love with some of these images and couldn't wait to share them! :) I can't wait for the wedding!

ELIZABETH AND JASON'S WEDDING

I traveled down to Hot Springs on Sunday with Sarah, my second shooter, for Elizabeth and Jason's wedding. Their ceremony took place at the new glass chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens. What a beautiful place!! And what an awesome couple! Elizabeth and Jason have so much love for each other, and it is so evident when you watch them together. I loved just glancing over at Jason throughout the day to see how he was looking at Elizabeth. It was so sweet! I just love weddings!!! :)

Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day. I hope to have a slideshow posted tomorrow! So check back soon!

RACHAEL'S BRIDALS

I was so excited to meet up with Rachael, her mother, and grandmother last week to shoot her bridals. We had so much fun, and she looked absolutely gorgeous! Her family was so sweet! We thought about using the orange wall that I have used for other portraits, but I passed by the blue wall the other day and have been dying to shoot in front of it ever since! :)

Rachael - I wish you the very best with your upcoming wedding and marriage! You're such a beautiful bride! Hayden's jaw is going to drop when he sees you coming down the aisle!

I hope you like these! The rest will be on Pictage soon!

LISA'S BRIDALS

I am so excited about Lisa's wedding!!!! She and her mother met me last week to shoot her bridals, and we had such a blast!!! They are both soooo awesome! Her dress is so pretty, and her mom brought big plastic bags for us to use to keep it from getting dirty. It was my first time working with plastic bags, but it worked!!! :) I don't think we got a spot on her dress.

Lisa, I hope you love these!!! :)
